Derwentwater on Cumbria Way walking holiday

You are now in the very heart of Lakeland, crossing Stake Pass at 1,575ft (480m), and meanering through Borrowdale to Derwentwater and Keswick. You then flank Lonscale Fell and follow Dash Beck down to Bassenthwaite and around the back of Skidda to Caldbeck. The walk ends by following the River Caldew into Carlisle.
On this walking holiday you hike through undulating pastures, farms and open commons and experience stunning views of Coniston Water. You skirt Tarn Hows, cross River Brathay at Skelwith Bridge and follow Great Langdale Beck, beneath the imposing Langdale Fell, to Dungeon Ghyll.
You can walk this hiking tour over 8 days
at about 10 miles per day.
This English walking holiday operates year round and in either direction.
Short walking breaks are also available, with 2 or 3 days walking. Just select the part of the path you want to walk.

These distances are only a suggestion.
If you would like to walk longer or shorter distances, we can arrange that too.
